SPS Named Merchandise Provider for SPEED World Challenge Series

TOPEKA, Kan. (Jan. 22, 2009) - WC Vision has announced that Solo Performance Specialties, LLC will be the official merchandising partner for SCCA Pro Racing SPEED World Challenge in 2009.

World Challenge fans will now be able to purchase series apparel and other merchandise at each World Challenge event and online, thanks to the new partnership with SPS. Merchandise from World Challenge teams will also be made available for purchase through SPS, who will become a one-stop shop for all things World Challenge.

"We are very excited to be working with SPEED World Challenge,” SPS Managing Partner Dave Whitworth said. “It's a phenomenal series with a strong and active fan base. It"s going to be a lot of fun working with World Challenge and its teams.”

SCCA, SPS Launch New Merchandise Website

TOPEKA, Kan. (Aug. 13, 2008) – Sports Car Club of America, Inc. and SPS, LLC announced today a formal agreement naming SPS as national merchandise partner as well as the launch of sccagear.com, the official source for SCCA-related merchandise and apparel.

As part of an agreement, SPS will develop SCCA-branded and event products for SCCA members and the general public. In addition to its online store, SPS will be on-site for many of SCCA’s biggest events, including the Tire Rack® Solo National Championships, SCCA National Championship Runoffs and SCCA National Convention as the official SCCA merchandise partner.

“SPS is run by longtime Club members who have a keen knowledge of what our drivers, crews, volunteers and fans want and expect,” SCCA Vice President of Marketing and Communications Eric Prill said. “We look forward to working with SPS and expanding our merchandise product line and distribution.”

“We are excited for the opportunity to partner with SCCA and apply our sales expertise, along with our knowledge of the club, in order to provide quality merchandise and apparel to volunteers, members, crew and participants in SCCA events,” SPS Managing Partner Dave Whitworth said.

The SCCAGear.com site will service branded apparel and merchandise needs, while large supply orders (decals, patches, materials) will still be taken through SCCA’s customer service department.

It is official, SCCA has selected “us” as a new vendor to provide SCCA branded apparel and merchandise to its members.

Who is “us”?

We are SPS, or Solo Performance Specialties/Solotime. We have been in business since 2000 selling graphics and racing supplies to amateur autocrossers, track day participants and racers across the country. We also sell apparel, trophies and promotional items to regions and event organizers across the country.

Our expertise is in both web sales and trackside sales. Many people have already experienced shopping at our main website, http://www.soloperformance.com which showcases our simple to navigate, easy shopping e-commerce platform. Combined with good product selection, good pricing and quick shipment, our site has grown in sales each month. We have applied our skills to the new SCCA Merchandise and Apparel Website, http://www.sccagear.com.

We also heavily utilize trackside sales with our mobile trackside store at 20-30 events a year.
